Seekers: The Winds of Change Review Spotlight

Welcome to the book tour for epic fantasy Seekers: The Winds of Change by Troy Knowlton, perfect for fans of An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir and We Free the Stars by Hafsah Faisal!

Seekers: The Winds of Change, the debut fantasy novel by Troy Knowlton is going to be a must-read for fantasy lovers of all ages. This novel is not going to read like a debut novel. The minute you begin this book, the author is going to pull you into his world and keep you page-turning with unique and engaging characters, and drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This story drops you in the desert with soldiers guarding a precious artifact. The drama is immediately going to ramp up when a mysterious figure makes an appearance. The group goes on high alert and so will you. Your hair is going to start to stand on end when you read the description of the blue cloak in the darkness. Your brain is going to work overtime wondering...what is about to happen? Is there going to be an assassination? Are all of these individuals going to be slaughtered? Will this be a tactical assault by a highly skilled assassin or mercenary?

Seekers has the right amount of detail to paint vivid pictures of the various scenes in your mind. You're going to love the twists and turns throughout this story. The illustration sketches at the end of each chapter help add another element to the story as well. It's the author's way of helping readers create a better mental image of the various characters.

From beginning to end the characters are engaging and keep you wanting to dig deeper into the storyline. Things are not what they seem and it's up to them to find out what is going on. Alliances will be made, and loyalties will be questioned as well. It will become...who can you trust?

There is so much packed into this book and I enjoyed every second of it. I'm really hoping, based on the ending, that there will be more to come in the future for these characters. The ending has an open-ended sound as though there will be more to come, and I'm really hoping that there will be.

I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. A must-read novel for fantasy lovers! Don't miss out on this author's debut novel. So much exceptional work went into this book and it truly shines. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future!

Thank you to the author, Troy Knowlton, and R&R Book Tours for the opportunity to read and review this book!

About the Author

Troy Knowlton always had a burning desire to tell stories. He started at a young age by drawing maps of made-up continents and fantasy kingdoms. The empty kingdoms beckoned to be given life, and his work eventually blossomed, leading him to create full narratives and characters for his worlds. He currently lives in California where he works as an X-Ray technologist and teacher when he isn’t writing. He’s also a great lover of history, currently working to earn his bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science.
