This Wicked Fate is the first book in Amanda Aggie's Realm of Monsters series and believe me! You're not going to want to miss out on this book!

This Wicked Fate starts out innocently enough. Well, as innocent as one can get with the princess is about to be basically "auctioned" off to whoever wins the gauntlet. Sounds fun, right? Well, see, here's the thing...she's got a beast on the inside. Ya know. Cuz she's a shifter and all that? Well, beastie has quite the personality and she doesn't like how things are. Too bad Eva is more docile. So, what does "daddy dearest" do? Well, he has essentially "chained" the beast in the prettiest way possible.

Now, things get gnarly pretty quickly. So make sure you close your mouth after the chaos that ensues after a particular visitor. Good news? It's over quickly. Bad news? No details! LOL! Stop looking at me like that. I love horror. Leave me alone. LOL!

Anyways, Eva gets a bright idea - too bad it doesn't help her in the long run. But hey! Where would the fun be in that? We'd have no story, and then the characters would just be like...okay, what now?

The great news is this is a dual-POV book! So we get Eva and then we get another character, Finn. Turns out Finn has quite a lot to reveal through his chapters and you're absolutely going to love it! These two POVs absolutely round out the story in the best way. You get gaps filled in and you get information on Finn's part!

So while you're thinking that Eva and her family have been locked away for "no reason" well, wait until you read what Finn has to tell us about the past! Shocker!

This book is a real page-turner with some nice twists! Prepare for a few head tilts of curiosity concerning one particular character. Yeah, where you're expecting - another bad guy - you get something more! You're gonna love it. I promise.

Now, are you thinking - there's going to be a major nasty cliffhanger since this is part of a series? Good news! It's a cliffhanger, but it's not a bad one! It's more like...get settled in because there's more to come and you're going to be super excited! LOL! Honestly, I can't wait for the next book in the series.
