Avalon: A Story Driven Post-Apocalypse zombie series Review Spotlight

Love a good horror story? Looking for a comic that will give you exactly that in small bites, and leave you gnashing your teeth for more? Well, check out 1282 Comics's - Avalon: A Story Driven Post-Apocalypse zombie series

It's the holiday season, and things should be good right? Life is going on as usual, but things are about to take a chaotic and dangerous turn. Don't let yourself be caught unawares. Danger is lurking, and it's about to break out in a big way.

This comic book is packed with detailed images. You get characters that are easy to relate to. They engage you and keep you page-turning with thrilling situations. A cop out on his beat doing a wellness check. What will he find? A family out to dinner, will they get through it without interruption? Chaos is brewing and this short comic will leave you on a cliffhanger. You're going to be eager to find out what happens next.

The second edition of this comic series continues with the characters that you were introduced to in the first. This second edition, Avalon: Blindside goes by just as quickly! It's a tasty bite that keeps you engaged in the story. You're curious - what is going to happen to everyone? The expectation arises that someone is going to die soon. Do they though? Guess you'll have to read to find out. LOL!

The storyline is fast paced and intriguing. You get pulled to the edge of your seat. You're pulled in by the thrills, close calls, and situations of where you just KNOW that things are about get ugly. You always hope against hope that for certain ones things will work out, but that's rarely the case. It's okay though! It keeps you coming back for more.

For readers who love a good zombie apocalypse series then one is definitely worth checking out. The comics are short, but they do a great job pulling you in. You're kept engaged and when it ends you are kept wondering what happens next.

I personally would have liked a little more substance with these comics, a bit more depth/pages since it goes by so fast. All in all, of the two that I've read it is worth checking out.
4.5 out of 5 stars.
